MG with a blower at TOTB 3 there was the big dadys of MG's and OMG them things flew they were ****ing on EVO's apart from the RVD Developments EVO that was just all out silly
No contest, Evo without a doubt, dunno much about turbo'ing MG's assume you'd use the Rover 220 engine or is there a 'bolt on' (say that loosely as usually bit more to these conversions that sticking a turbo on it!) conversion available for your MG? The 2.0litre 220 engine is 200bhp standard and can be tuned up to around 300bhp so can get some good power out of it - but will the cost of doing it equal money towards an Evo? You can get Evo 4's for just over £7k now and even a 3 for around £6k (although personally anything older than a 4 looks too old) around 285bhp as standard and can be tuned easily up to 400bhp. Test drove the Evo 7 FQ300 and it was fecking amazing, hated to say better than the cossie.
Yeah an MG turbo different, but IMO just not the same league as an Evo

Evo or MG that's a hard one! The MG would be rude and it would proberbly be quite rare. But the Evo is bad boy and you would turn more heads so it's got to be an Evo mate!
It's not even worth thinking about! There's only one answer! The heave ho!
My mate has been building a mad 6 for the past 18 months, the engine is nearly ready to get on the dyno now for it's first map, just finishing off the custom loom. It's going to be rapid!
Drove an Evo a couple of weekends ago as part of a rally car driving course.
It was the first Jap car I`d ever driven, didn`t get above 3rd gear & kept it near to 7k all the time.
Not the fastest car I`ve driven,I`ve owned faster,my old chevy would certainly beat it to 1/8 mile and be first to say about 70,when I get the posi on the back. The Evo would probaly just get the 1/4.
As for going round corners,"I had to go to hospital to get the grin off my face" 4wd drifting you see.
Somebody said that they cost £55k. No way would I be paying 55k for any car,
