Can't wait for the show season to start, weekend's spent under canvas in fields full of cars. I think our first one will be Wheels Day, Good Friday. Then the Manningtree Show, whoch is on April 23rd, it's also a special day for those of us with classic's. We are being encourages to use them on that day as a 2 fingered sault to the powers that be who want old cars off the road. There's more about this on http://www.fbhvc.co.uk/events/index.htm
Are you trying to tell me that there are people in this world who want to see an end to the classic car scene? God damn them! Each classic car carries with it a small piece of history, it shows its own generation in its own light and helps us to see how technology over the years has changed. 2 fingers? I think we should give them more than that!!!
Heres to ya!!

What you CAN do is boring, it's what you TRY to do that is fun!!
Ireland will soon introducing the Euro ruling where owners o9f cars over a certain age will have to log in person at the local police station 28 days prior to usage the route of the proposed drive out in the car...................no deviations allowed so if there are road works or whatever you are stuffed.you have to stay on route.
any member of a visting UK club will have to vist Ireland 28 days before to register theur ferry dates, arrival n routes.
No conveys of more than 1 car ..so if you catch up with another classic you"ll have to slow down,
This is already happening in parts of Euro La La land as is legislation that states you cannot modify any car after a certain date..............this legislation WILL come to the UK
