This is nothing to do with cars, but I had to share this with you. I assume you all know that when it's real cold you should not touch anything metal wih your bare hands as your skin will stick to it. Well we heard at work today (I work at Wattisham airbase as a helicopter engineer) about an RAF bloke, currently on detatchment in Norway, where it's -20 degrees. He was working outside, under an aircraft and wearing all the proper cold weather gear, including gloves, and was doing one of those jobs that needs a handfull of tools. He needed to switch between two diferent spanners, and without thinking, popped one into his mouth while using the other. Yup, it froze to his lips and tounge! Had to be taken to the medical centre to get it removed! I shouldn't really laugh, as it's one of those things that could so easily happen, 'There but for the grace of God, go I' but I had this picture in my mind of one of those cartoon comic cannibals, with a bone through the nose! Anyone working outside tonight?!
