I think the best 2 sites ive found for insurance has been norwich union (lower bracket cars) and direct line (higher banded cars such as puma) 1 yrs no claims 23 yrs old £715 lowest ive found

That's really good hun ....... right i think unless i find a puma i like i'm really teetering on going and test driving a 206 1.6GLX its 110BHP which is to my liking and i can do it up ..... it's a car i've always really liked and the insurance on it would only be around the £425 mark

I looked at it but there aren't many about on the market ....... I think if i was to have something like that i would race it and TBH i don't warrant going 70 miles to go look at one ..... granted they do look sweet but the 1.6 would be quick enough as it's only a light car ... so would prob out do most of the 1.6 escorts. With the cheap insurance would mean i would be able to do more to it. The Gti insurance group i think too would be a pain and ok they have about 40 more BHP but im sure with a bit of tweaking the 1.6 could get up to about 125

if that norwich union direct forget them, they are cheep but when you need to sort out a claim they put you on hold for hours, then cant answer you questions, and say the person who can is not there,
