i wondered why there was only two pedals then had to read it again and its an automatic

what engine is it with a 7 speed switch gear box! ?????

Our Mark2 Sporting had the 6speed box, must have had a different one put in or is someone adding the reverse gear to make the 7th!

(And don't take that the wrong way, please!)

Sniper has just had a peep and is now in tears, he misses our old Sporting!#

As for why it only has 2 pedals, he said that Fiat made a few with semi-auto boxes.

Stopping crying Sniper, one day I might let you have the Stilo Abarth instead of the boring 5 door active Stilo. More boot space in the Stilo and with 2 kiddies plus all his site gear for work, we need it!

Have to ask why a sporting in that colour?

its only a 1242cc 16v but i am so happy with the power to weight i am getting rid of my merc 190e and keeping this as my main car :)

the 7 gears are all forward, you put the stick over to the left, then just tap it forward and it goes up the gears, tap it back and it changes down, but if you are in 7th and brake it changes down for you. it has a display on the dash to tell you what gear you are in

Yeah, but why have a Sporting in that shade of blue and not in Broom Yellow or Imula Blue(I think that was what they called it).

Don't like the new yellow & blue they put on the Sporting's, too pale.

Anyway, enjoy the car with a huge grin of your face, we did!

i had a broom yellow cinq a few weeks back, i washed an polished it 2 days later it would be all dirty again, and i hadnt even driven it anywhere

broomyellow is nice but too much work for me

Did you ever notice the front of the Punto when we brought it to the Pub meets, looked more like a wasp than a Punto at times, esp' if Sniper had been out for work in it.

Sniper does still miss it, easy to find in a car park. Unlike the Stilo. But we don't talk about that at the mo'.

dont i just no that, it gets on my nerves somtimes having 2 keep cleaning it but i would never get a diff colour for my punto
