Obviously not the pics of when it was modded to 345bhp............. as i see its totally standard under the bonnet..... got any recent under bonnet pics???

What are expecting to see under there?  Turbo and actuator look new, can't tell what colour injectors is has, standard air box with panel filter is better than cone, you wont be able to see the MAP sensor etc

Well as per normal i like to say what i think........................ What the hell do you mean by that?????????? i asked if there was any recent pics of under the bonnet as i also have a cosworth and was interested....................................................


As for the injectors they are BLUE..... you can see them, as for the actuator yes it looks new ...... So what........ the turbo is a T3 which will only produce 300 bhp at MOST!!!!!!!!


Yes you are correct about the air box..........  You talk about the map sensor ???? why?? a 3 bar map sensor looks no different to a 2.5 bar or a 2 bar........ there is no pics of a swirl pot, or breather......................... so it OBVIOUSLY is not 345bhp (in those pics) I like looking under bonnets thats why i asked so pretty much ......... THATS WHAT I EXPECTED TO SEE!!!!!!

Now I KNOW you're talking engine bits, but it's all just a bit Greek to me!  If you were talking about an Edlebrock or Holley four barrel on a dual plane manifold with a Mallory dual-point, ported and polished heads with a three-angle job and a pair of four-into-ones I might have stood a chance!

Lol exactly, you asked for recent pic as it looked standard, your not going to see a lot different to make it look 345bhp that’s all I was saying! (Though the graph would be the most interesting thing!) All you really need to get around 330bhp is chip, bigger injectors (true the 4x4 blues wont fuel much over stage 1) 3 bar MAP (you wouldn’t see this in the pic and certainly not close enough to see what numbers are stamped on it to differentiate it to a standard one!) and uprated actuator (you can run up to about 24psi on standard turbo) with previous mods running 21psi you should see around 330bhp (so don’t entirely agree that standard turbo will only run 300bhp)
Obviously you may not hit 345 with said mods (then you can’t say ‘so and so wont go over xxx bhp, as that’s not always the case with individual cars) as you said you may need to replace turbo for hybrid.

Hey makes a change to have a decent discussion!

Forgot to say! Its very nice radio boy, nice colour (not called magenta are they, nevough red or something (can't spell it))

This is all greek to me too. 3bar map?, bigger injectors? chip must be an add on for the computer.


Holley= Yank state of the art carb. Usually 4 barrell on v8's. Dual plane manifold= high rise intake manifold with divided plenum and runners giving better low and mid range power. Mallory dual piont= Yank dual point distributor. You guys must know what a foru into one is
