Right then boys and girls the rolling road is a 1000bhp and 500bhp working load ..... they explained what they meant but cant really remember..... apart from the basics which means
1 * Any car that is 2wd can have a power run and will record upto 1000bhp!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 * Can effectivly hold a 500bhp car on the rollers at set rpm, even with foot planted!!! so foot to the floor and their rollers can STALL THE CAR!!!!! thats powerfull.
Il sort it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im just waiting for the go ahead from LPS to do it...................
When im given it BELIVE ME IL LET YOU ALL KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be £40 per car as there is a lot of setting up, as there are lots of different cars..... but this is for the power run to see what you are making!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So plenty of time to save up......... Il give you all plenty of notice dont worry.
I've got Thursday afternoon off and Friday. That also gives me Saturday until our chrissy din dins. Sunday is AGM so thats Two and a half days to get cracking this weekend with the respray.
Does a paint job make the car more powerfull??? ha ha ha as doesn't matter if its painted or nor really does it....... but i know what your saying.... it wont be for a bit yet as im having a few probs with the cosworth so no rush........... Best thing is Il get a date see how everybody is with it and take it from their.
And remember guys a paint job is worth at least10bhp @ the wheels!!!!!
I've got an HVLP thing from Argos. Thought it would be easier than tinnies. Besides I need to spray the garden fence as well
It's not hard painting satin. s'partly why I'm doing it. Easy to maintain and repair, plus is a respected hue amongst rodders. The hard bit is rubbing down and finding places to put all the panels when I put the rod to bed
