Hallo, me again. If I do this right, there should be some pics of my former daily driver, a '65 Ford Mk3 Zodiac. It WAS my daily driver, but the years MOT it came with turned out to be as bent as a plumbers U-bend! These pics were taken last summer, just after a mate helped me paint it, and still with the original 2.5 ltr straight six boat anchor under the bonnet. Since I had to take it of the road anyway, I thought I might as well replace the 108 hp original lump with a 3.5 ltr Rover V8 engine and overdrive autobox. This is now putting out about 215 hp. Not much by today's modern car standards, but hey, I can at least say I've doubled the original factory output!! I HOPE to have it back on the road in about another month's time, 'cos I really miss driving it.

My advice is to do it mate. I'm a firm believer in the saying 'Life's too short' You don't want to end up in a care home for coffin-dodgers, mumbling into your coco 'Damn, I wish I did such-n-such when I had the chance!' There's plenty of people out here who will gladly and freely give advice and help, try my lot, at www.ahra.org.uk or www.uk-hotrods.co.uk . The last group have some of the best known and respected people in the sport as members, and they're real helpful, even to complete beginners.
