Street racing - do you agree or dis-agree with it?
im not talking built up area's where gran's can be run over, but out the way places that the only danger is a speeding fine from the cops or YOU crashing your OWN car????
I used to go down basildon on a sunday night (yes sunday) where they do it on an industrial estate till the early hours......... cops would pass once in a while where everybody just sat here twiddling their thumbs and when they went ...back on with it.
There was all sorts, grudge match's, funny ones and the serious ones who put their money where there mouth was, i remember people saying £20 says im faster and the guy then saying NO £50 SAYS IM FASTER!!!!!!!!!!!! it goes like that.
i think its fine if it causes no probs 2 ne 1 else!
need somewhere closer 2 home though ne ideas? ne1 can think of one place we been not sure where/wot its called thought i'll ask aaron prob asleep at mo though!
Hmm the jury's out on this one, we all love fast driving and yeah away from residential areas you think its ok and be honest we've all done it, but then at the back of your mind you still know it is dangerous no matter how we try to justify it to ourselves

Street racing. Hmmm yes we've all done it. Traffic light burns for me only these days and then not much over the speed limit.
I always drive at at higher speed on motorways where there are no pedestrians. But racing is a no no. Lets face it you could see the old red mist when racing and where does the race stop? It's OK to say out of town...but, you never know whats round the corner and situations on the road can change very quickly. No, keep it on the race track/ drag strip. Joe public will just stereotype everyone who has a customised car when they frown on racing.
Sorry if I sound boring but the end game has got to be a scene that survives. There are a lot of people out there trying to stop it so why give them the tools.
