Guildford, the Rods, Yanks and serious late modifyers were up in arms about losing that cruise...yet another one lost by the stupid element. It's back and marshalled which might take something away from it. But I suppose you cant have everything.

How about the Ace Cafe. Not been there yet. Executioners hot rod club hold thier meets there on the same night as the AHRA so I cant go. Heard a recent American night had  filled a car park next door and the clampers started clamping the vehicles and demanding £250, per clamp, to remove them. A crowd gathered around and ...er....persuaded the clampers that the clamps would be very expensive to replace if they were made unusable!! The clampers relented and went away!!!
