I use unleaded from any Big suplier, BP Esso, Shell etc. Supermarket fuel is crap. Leave your car for a week and it wont start. They put poor quality additives in at supermarket pumps.

I've used BP optimax diesel and ordinary diesel in my van and couldn't tell the difference.

Have to use BP in the van and prefer Esso in the Rod and the Oldsmobile.

Any old ****e in the cabrio, Tesco cos I like it that you can put your card in the pump!

Optimax apparently varies in octane level, whereas Esso super is always 97 ron due to quality standards or something. I don't believe Optimax etc make a blind bit of difference to cars like the cabrio, I put a tank of it in the cabrio, didn't make any noticible difference in running etc and don't think the mpg was improved either, but the likes of the cosworth has to have the higher octane level.

Esso, shell and BP are all a bunch of rip-off con artists, who couldn't give a f*ck for the enviroment, (Esso, who are the REAL power in the States, not El Bush) or human rights (Shell, allowing people to get slaughtered in African states when they could flex their muscles and stop it.)  I have always used Tesco, with no problems, and get club cards as well.  Plus they're usually cheaper, often a lot cheaper.  If everyone used supermarkets, the big three would soon feel the pinch, and be forced to lower their prices, and then we all benefit.  Soapbox rant over.

Always use Optimax, Bp seems to vanish too quick. Jap engines (imports) always ran on higher octane fuel in Japan, so optimax recomended by subaru. Plus car runs like bag of Sh** when filled with normal unleaded.
