A mann and his wife were snug up in bed on a rainy night and they hear a knock on the door, the man who is rather peeved that he has been woken up, trundles down stairs and opens the door.
He sees a man soaked through to the skin and says "what do you want, its pishing down with rain and its 2am in the morning!"
the man replies "im in need of some help, can you give me a push start?"
the man furious that hes been woken up says "its hacking it down with rain, its 2am in the morning, hell no am I gonna give you a push start!"
He slams the door and walks up stairs and gets into bed
the wife asks "who was that at the door at this time of the night?"
the man says "it was some guy asking for a push start, can you belive it?"
and the woman suddenly sits up and says "And you didnt help him? im ashamed of you, remember when you were stuck in the middle of nowhere, broken down, in the pouring rain and a stranger helped you fix your car? I want you to go outside and help that poor man!"
Mumbiling the man gets up again and puts on his wellies and rain coat and walks outside in the rain and shouts "hello? ive changed my mind ive come out to give you a push start, where are you?"
he heres a voice not to far away that says........
