Have always been into hi fi. Home system I had last was Cyrus amp and Mission speakers. In car I've not bought anything for years.
Cruising in the Rod means the engine drowns out bass completely and good music sounds like an old medium wave station.
Well I've now installed a Sony CDX2200 head with a Fusion Encounter 150W (into 1 sub speaker) and 12" Fusion Woofer in a box. Also have exsisting front cowl and rear firewall Kenwood (I think they are 2 way. I know they are Blue he he)speakers.
Dont know how you young things who are well into ICE, sound offs and such would rate this system but I'm just glad I can here the whole range when driving...if I want too. Also the bass cant be heard outside with the engine running even at the highest safe volume playing the latest bass music. I would be embarressed if people looked at me because my bass could be heard from 1/2 a mile away. Lokks for V8 burble...thats just fine
Also installed purple neons, out off site, underneath. Inside has purps as well. Impressed that they dont use any current when on while rod is parked up.
So, is this a good set up or not, or OK? The reason I went for Fusion is because the amp and sub plus all the wiring came as a package from Halfords.
