Saw mentioned on here some time ago that someone had put Lexus lights on their pride & joy.Brilliant I thought, some one has got the customing bug & has had a go a fitting the lights from an over priced Toyota.Maybe a bit of frenching, cuttin & shapin you know, improving the looks etc.
But I was wrong,I`ve now realised that Lexus lights are"In the style of"eg,clear main lens with coloured lamps within (always on the rear).
Personally,I think they make the rear of a car Butt Ugly, much better to tint the entire lens, remembering to leave the reflector stock.
Does lens tinting greatly reduce the light output so that it doesn`t meet construct & use ?
Does putting "Lexus" style lenses effect the insurance unless you tell `em
Where can I get a set of Lexus made up for the Camaro?
Tinted lights will affect the lighting in some way but depend s how dark the tints are and how bright the bulbs are. U shd notify yur insurance company with any changes to yur car u have made no matter how big or how small.

Tinted Lexus lights..well thats different. Saw them on a Green Calibre once and I thought they looked awful. Seen them on a White Calibre in Sudbury and yhey look good.
