Still a lot of money tho. There is an H plate R32 in bury(us bloke) had full rebuild in Japan and all tuned over there had back in the UK now want to move over to Japan with his wife and due to the laws on cars over there hes selling his for £8500 this car was sweet sounded awsome no rattle at all.

That sounds about right. Yeah the Jap equivalent of MOT are soo strict most people get rid of their cars by the time its due as costs a fortune to get it through, hence more imports for us!
Its a lot of money, but what else could you buy for £10k - one of the first new Civic Type R's, Scooby or Evo 5, M3, none would be a monster 550bhp dragster! I'd have it!

Sadly I don't have £10k either, probably take years to save that too! I'd have no problems with spending it on a car though, if I had it I'd spend £27k on one of those brand new Mitsi MR FQ320's, decent cars cost money :( (already got mortgage so not like have to save for that!)
Not sure what year is it (but think they stopped making them in 1996) but mate of mine bought a R33 GTR Skyline not sure exactly how much its running (over 500bhp) and paid between £20-30k for it! (Imported straight from Japan) nuts, but it was in last months Redline top speed run
