Ok, which one of these films provided the most influence to encourage you to customise your ride. List any of the others that have given you the urge as well.
Tell us which films you've seen and which you've never heard of.
I first saw American Grafitti in the 1974 and was instantly hooked on Hot Rods. Other influential film was Two Lane Blacktop. Also not on the list...The Munsters with the hot rod Munster Koach and Dragular.
Around the time I saw Grafitti I also got to cruise in a Dodge Charger through downtown Toronto. My sister used to date American service men. One of them was into drag racing and got me scaled kits of Stangs and other yanks to build.

You mean the Baghdad Trumpet? Only go on the website, haven't bought one since they sided with Saddam. Still, they did sack that total *%$+" of an editor reciently!
Well it`s not going to be fast / furious, that film could be classed as the worse, but there again I`m well out of the percieved target audience age group which was probaly 12
Did you sit and watch the other night then? I caught the bit where one bloke was having oil pumped into his mouth, yuk! You don't get that on Grease or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
