Might be time to take your car to a Fiat garage and let them have a look, will probably cost a fortune, but it'll be worth it in the end!

just checked out the insurance on that beast and i can get fully comp with no excess for about 850 i was expectin more than that

I don't suppose that's too bad.  I think Sniper was paying about £300 for the sporting and don't forget his got 10 years no claims and he is over 30.  Put the GT on the Crimbo list!

Kate get the fooker on a diagnostics machine i did it at a garage in needham cost me £35 and that saves all the hassle of people tinkering with it if it's an electrical fault it'll pick it up straight away

Buy an old Ford Anglia, drop a 2 litre Pinto block in it and then drive it like you hate it!  Trust me, you'll be able to fix it with a spanner and a hammer, and you'll have more fun than you know what to do with!!

Funny, Sniper & I were saying the same a little while ago!  The trouble with modern cars is that when they go wrong, it's costly.  Hey VeeMan, you could convert Kate to Hot Rods!

cant be a lot wrong with it if rac can get it going again, have you checked boot light goes out when you shut the boot?

dont get an audi, i have a nice cinq sporting forsale now mot just serviced new battery 2 new tyres, broom yellow

Alot of garages have them now plus there is ppl in the yellow pages that come to yur house and they can tell exsacly wot is wrong with yur car.

Broom yellow is the ONLY colour for sporting Fiat's, we had a yelllow Sporting Punto and were told at the garage when we bought it that yellow ones hold their money better.

Just been on a mission Kate to see about a Diagnostics machine in ur area and ended up looking on some Fiat thing there are loads of people who have stuck their cars on machines and found out it was something as simple as a earth lead not working. There is a Fiat garage in Colchester that has a Diagnostics machine but not knowing exactly where you are could mean it's flippin miles away. If you PM me the details of where you are i can try and help further
