Keep doing it & you`ll get nicked,can you really afford a £50 fine??I can`t & would rather put fuel in the tank

 Front fog lights are those lamps fitted below the percieved bumper line and are designed to throw out a beam to highlight the kerb & centre white line,best used at speeds below 25mph,can be used with dip only,same rules apply as per the back ones.Both my Mondeos are fitted with them,Ford say they are for very heavy fog & snow only as do the construct & use regs.Don`t know what the foreign car companys say about them but it appears that most people who have them on are driving a Euro shopping cart or a Jap

If you need extra light to the front get some cibies either driving lamps or spots,you can leave the driving lamps on with the dip provided they are fitted in the correct place but the spots will have to go out when you switch from main beam

Lets hope your lights don`t dazzle the copper or else he will follow you.you havn`t got those little blue Chav lights on the screen washers as well have you ?

Perhaps the under bumper lights on your car have had lower wattage bulbs fitted which means they wouldn`t dazzle but would become side/running lights,

As an experiment try driving on side & fog only,you`ll be surprised,but when you do the same in the fog you won`t get any glare back dfrom the headlights.

I don`t recall suggesting that perhaps you were one,you must have mis read & in the wrong context what was written.

Have you done much to the car?what year is it? I ask as there has been several facelifts on that model & far as the motoring media go the Vectras are now the best 2nd hand car to go for.Never had one myself,although I had an early Cavalier when they were first launched.One of our members has put a 2.0 Manta/Cav into his Kadett & goes brilliantly.

From your description it sounds brilliant.blimey you`ve spent some money.The trouble is some sod is always ready & eager to take it away from you.I`d hold on the oily bits mods for a while just to see how far GM develop their four pot engines,it`ll probaly filter thru first  to Opel & then Vauxhall will put their hand up to claim the glory as they always do,as they did with the little two seater.

Now that does look cool,if you take the Vauxhall badge off the boot does it leave an indentation?We`ve both got late model Mondeo estates which I`ve de badged apart from the Ford logo which leaves a big hole if you take it off.I could always lead fill it on her car but she won`t let me touch it,(only clean it) & my one has to be kept standard for resale value.

The Chevy is without bages apart from the induction cowl on the hood.

Nursey has come in and told me I can`tplay on this any more to night as she wants the phone,won`t be making to-night as the road rent is up & its bloody hard with kids & a mortgage.The Chevy will be out & about April 1 05.See you then,do fancy a drive?

I've got to admit, when i've had fog lights on other car's i would drive with them on, i don't know why, I just did!

At the moment my car hasn't any, but i have a new bumper with them in, it just need's a colour change and the fogs wired up.

Even when i drive my coach, I have fogs on that, i drive with them on.

BUT... when i see other people with them on, and i haven't it annoys the hell out of me, then i sit back and think... Er, no you do the same!!!

Stupid i know...
