Yet again killed a battery - its an intermittent problem, ok if you run it everyday, but leave for a day and the battery dead as a dodo - its had numerous new batteries and alternator which is charging fine, so must be a drain somewhere, bloody thing grrr

Thank goodness, though the BM in on Autotrader for sale at the mo, and the cossie is now SORN off road for the winter (I'd worry about it getting ruined too, sure I would be allowed to borrow it though). The cab is bad for a 1.6 on fuel but the BM drinks it like its going out of fashion! I can still walk too!
I dunno Kate, its bloody annoying, at the moment can't see why it does it - bit of detective work to see if/why its draining

Still don't know what it is, the battery was showing 11.5v after sat on the car a couple of days, ok its bound to have a small drop, it tries to start turning over slowly and then end up 'ticking' as if the battery flat, still got 11v which would suggest the starter motor sticking - but hook it up to another battery with jump leads and it starts first time - very strange....
Don't understand it, its started up everytime again since, bet if leave for a day will be the same thing... hmmm!
