I personally dont like my Sony head unit - I find that I have to work it way to hard (nearly on the max) to get the subs moving - then it skips because it gets to hot. My systems a mix of JBL Subs, Pioneer 6x9's, JBL speakers, and Sony head unit

I had the sony CDX M800 then the CDX F7700 and they were both no probs!!

Looks great sounds great but skips whenever I turn the heater even worse when the a/c is on hot!

I agree sony head unit i have seen are the best in my opinion these to are what i want to get but not sure what,ebay is the best place to get them i buy them new the top link takes you too ione that is second hand however is usally on ebay new with free postage for £135 other is last seasons head unit how ever my mate had this i loved it it looks the business and is it just looks so sexual....... with 5V pre outs to the front and rear and to sub-woofer plus with filter control and the function that most head units don't have sub control!!!!!

the second link is like the newer model and has MP3 and all the other functionsso you can have mp3 cds in the car with about 170 songs how ever it has cscreen saver is well better screen but does not look as sexual don't you think????

The only thing with these to headunits is that there facia does not come off but they have a code that needs to be put in if they are disconnected via the remote so i would surggest a alarm but if you not fimilar with ebay i can help email me joel @

Sub-woofer i have heard Audio barhn and JL audio are best but expensive but depend on your budget and rockford fosgate amps look quality!! and Fusion ^*9 like i say depends hoe much you wiling to spend but that top link head unit........i', in love plus those prices are the best around the first link was when it cam out £350/£400 and secound one is priced at motor world £400!!!!!!!! hope i helped joel x

First sony i had was a flip one- never had ANY trouble from sonys- could just be the trusty punto tho

Yeah my sonys got sub control - quite cool and mp3 as well
