Wasn't there some guy in Stockholm who video'd himself tear-arseing through the town centre at ludicrus speeds and then posted it on the internet? Swedish plod said thank you very much for the evidence. Please hand over your licence, do not pass go, do not collect £200. NOT very smart!

How can u get done for speeding on private land? its private unless it has n e sort of speedlimit that the owner has put up then there nothing the old bill can do.

I think it's one of those sticky grey areas in the law. I know that on public places, like the Suffolk Showground and private unmade roads you have to stick to the law. If you get caught smile sweetly and say I am sorry officer and hope for the best.

Yes thats if the owner has a road and public access then can then put speed restriction up then u can get in trouble with the police for speeding but if u own the land and there no speed limets put up then u can do wot u like as long u are not harming n e body in n e way.
